Electronic Radiology Laboratory (ERL)

World-Image Chest Image Repository

The ERL hosts the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Chest Image Repository (CIR), a database of de-identifed, digitally-acquired, chest radiographs and computed tomography (CT) scans to be used for research, training, quality assurance, publications and other educational and public health purposes. The ERL supports NIOSH by collecting, curating and hosting images of minimal to severe occupational parenchymal and pleural-lung disorders from those engaged in health care, academics or public health, including occupational safety and health.
