I have a broad interest in structural and functional microscopy and diagnostic imaging, with a focus on molecular imaging . My lab develops new contrast agents and imaging strategies to sensitively detect tissue microstructure and physiology, primarily with magnetic resonance imaging. Our current projects range from discovery science to translational medicine. Major current projects include new imaging tools to detect kidney pathology and provide sensitive tools for renal transplant evaluation.
