Typical Preparations

No changes are necessary in your daily routine before this exam. Medication may be taken as usual. Follow your usual diet. Please let us know if you are:
  • Claustrophobic
  • Pregnant or breast feeding
  • Allergic to any medicine including iodine (x-ray dye) or local anesthetics (Lidocaine, Novocaine, Marcaine or Bupivacaine)
