There are imaging centers…Then there’s MIR.
Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) is part of the internationally-acclaimed Washington University School of Medicine. Although we are based in St. Louis city, our community radiology section brings a complete range of advanced imaging procedures to smaller hospitals and outpatient clinics serving St. Charles and St. Louis Counties, such as 3D mammography. We perform quality studies and provide accurate, detailed interpretations. Not all imaging centers and radiologists are alike. Our expertise and the time we take for tests often eliminates the need for more imaging exams and reduces patients' exposure to radiation. We provide pediatric and adult radiologic services.
Staffed by a diverse group of board-certified, subspecialty radiologists, we provide care at:
- Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital
- Progress West Hospital
- O’Fallon Convenient Care (x-rays only)
We not only work in the community, we are active in a number of quality and patient safety initiatives, research and education projects. We also volunteer in a variety of local non-profit organizations.
