Manu S. Goyal, MD, an assistant professor of radiology at MIR, spoke with NPR about recently published research that found females had a younger brain age than males. Female brain scans on average appeared about four years younger, according to Goyal and a team of MIR researchers. The team used PET imaging to study the brain scans of more than 200 people.
