Jacqueline M. Hampton, MD

Diagnostic Radiology Resident

Graduation Year:
2028

My hometown: Farmington, Missouri

My teachable medical school moment: A good bedside manner and focus on effectively communicating with your patients can sometimes be more important than your medical knowledge.

I chose MIR because: it is a great training program with a focus on education in a city that I now consider home.

My personal interests (hobbies, sports, hidden talents, etc.): Hiking, kayaking, growing my native plant garden, exploring local restaurants, listening to pop culture podcasts, doing the New York Times mini crossword

My favorite go-to meal: To be honest, DoorDash.

I’m excited about living in St. Louis because: It has the conveniences of a smaller city with the amenities of a larger one, great food, a great academic community, and a diverse patient population.

Anything else you should know about me: I am obsessed with my dog child, but recently welcomed a human child so I am learning to balance keeping everything in my life alive, which includes my plants, dog, baby, and patients.
