Amir Ata Rahnemai-Azar, MD, is an assistant professor of radiology in the interventional radiology section at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR). His clinical and research interests include peripheral vascular disease, portal hypertension, lymphatic interventional treatment, dialysis access, and gender-specific interventions like PAE and UFE.

Rahnemai-Azar earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tehran and his doctorate from Tehran University of Medical Science. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at the Cleveland Medical Center of Case Western Reserve University and his independent interventional radiology fellowship at MIR.
