Ali Y. Mian, MD, is an assistant professor of radiology at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He is a member of MIR’s neuroradiology section and played a leading role in forming a comprehensive pediatric neuroradiology curriculum for medical students, residents and fellows at the School of Medicine From 2016 to 2019, Mian was a member of the pediatric economics committee for the American College of Radiology. He is active in several organizations and societies, including the American Roentgen Ray Society, American Society of Neuroradiology, American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology and the Radiological Society of North America. Mian completed a fellowship in pediatric neuroradiology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and a radiology residency and fellowship in neuroradiology at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. He earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth School of Medicine in Richmond and his bachelor’s degree from Colby College in Waterville, Maine.
