  Barnes-Jewish Hospital
Barnes-Jewish Hospital (BJH), a premier tertiary referral facility fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, is ranked among the top 10 hospitals in the United States. It is one of the world's largest lung transplantation centers; the first double-lung transplant was done here. BJH has one of the largest and most sophisticated intensive care units in the United States.

With more than 1,400 licensed inpatient beds, BJH is the largest teaching hospital in Missouri and provides a wellspring of cases from which radiology residents and fellows can learn more about the detection and healing of diseases.
